The section “Erstfeld“ consists of two parallel tunnels each 7.4 km long.The total length of the Gotthard-Basistunnel is 57 km.

Our scope of work:

Concrete charging

for the fully automated concrete loading into rail system to feed the tunnel boring machine (TBM)

We had been already very succesful at sector “ Amsteg“ therefore the client engaged us a main contractor for the sector „Erstfeld“. It was our responsibility to ensure that the tunnel boring machine (TBM) was supplied as needed with concrete just-in time. With our specially developed a high-tech solution this task was succesfully mastered.
